Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the questions El Paso homeowners ask most about interior and exterior painting. Don't see yours? Text us a photo and ask.

Pricing & Estimates

How much does painting cost in El Paso?

It depends on the size, the ceilings and how much prep is needed, but you never guess at it. Interior projects start around $350 and exterior repaints around $900, and you always get one flat price in writing before any work begins — paint and labor together, no per-square-foot surprises. The fastest way to a number is to text us a few photos.

Is the estimate really free?

Yes. Send photos by text or let us walk the space, and the written estimate is free with no walk-through fee. You approve the number or you do not.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards, checks and cash. For larger projects we typically take a deposit to schedule and the balance on completion, spelled out in the written quote.

Prep & Process

Do you prep the surfaces, or just paint?

Prep is most of the job, especially on El Paso exteriors. We pressure-wash, scrape and sand failing paint, caulk gaps, patch wall dings and spot-prime bare stucco and wood before any finish coat. The written quote lists prep, primer and coats separately so you see exactly what you are paying for.

Do I need to move furniture or empty rooms?

No. We move what we can to the center of the room, cover it and your floors with clean drop cloths, and mask the trim, outlets and fixtures. We put the room back together when we finish.

How many coats do you apply?

Two full coats is our standard for even color and coverage. A dramatic color change or raw surface may need a primer coat plus two finish coats, which we note in the quote up front.

Scheduling & Timing

How soon can you start?

Most El Paso painting projects are scheduled within the same week, and a single room or small exterior is often done in a day or two. We confirm the schedule in writing with your quote.

How long will my project take?

A single room is usually one day; an average interior runs two to four days; a full exterior repaint two to five depending on prep. Weather can shift exterior timing, which we talk through up front.

What is the best time of year to paint an exterior in El Paso?

Spring and fall are ideal, but with the dry climate we paint exteriors most of the year — we just schedule around extreme heat, high wind and the monsoon so the coating cures properly.

Paint, Cabinets & Exteriors

Can you use low-VOC, low-odor paint?

Yes. We offer low-VOC, low-odor interior paints that are a good fit for occupied homes, nurseries and anyone sensitive to fumes. Just ask when we quote it.

Can you refinish my kitchen cabinets instead of replacing them?

Yes, and it costs a fraction of new cabinetry. We remove the doors, degrease, sand and prime, then spray a durable cabinet-grade enamel for a smooth, factory-style finish that wipes clean.

Will exterior paint hold up to the El Paso sun?

That is what the prep and the product are for. Over properly washed, primed and caulked surfaces we use UV-resistant exterior coatings that resist chalking and fading, and we back the workmanship with a 2-year warranty.

Service Area & Warranty

What areas do you serve?

We cover the whole El Paso metro — East El Paso, West El Paso, Northeast El Paso, Central El Paso, Downtown El Paso, Lower Valley, Upper Valley, Horizon City and more — plus Las Cruces and Chaparral, NM, within about a 40 miles radius. See our areas page for the full list.

Do you do commercial painting?

Yes. We handle offices, retail units, rentals and HOAs — interior repaints, turnovers, common areas and exterior building coatings — with a written scope and price before we mobilize, and evening or weekend crews when needed.

Is your work guaranteed?

Every project is backed by a 2-year workmanship warranty, and we are a local, fully licensed and insured El Paso crew.
